Court Martials rally to overtime win while Fearless Crew outclass Cristos United

Court Martials enjoyed a close 75-71 overtime win over Pointvill Ballers for their fourth triumph in seven outings in Division 2 of the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) competition on Monday night.

Playing at the JSC basketball complex, Court Martials and Ballers were level 57-57 at the end of regulation, forcing the teams into overtime. Court Martials however outscored Pointvill Ballers 18-14 in overtime to win the contest by four points.

De-Lornge Jules top scored for the victors with 19 points and five rebounds, while Regillio Cisse chipped in with 14 points off the bench. There were 12 and 11 points from Proctor Truvaurn and Baldwin Anthony respectively.

Kebo Orford sank a game high of 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a losing effort for Ballers. Khalid Shabazz chipped in with 16 points and 13 rebounds off the bench while there were 14 points and 10 rebounds from Skyy Nedd.

Meanwhile, Fearless Crew rallied to a 73-51 victory over Cristos United as they continue to lead the standings with a record of six wins from seven games.

Delano Scotland led the scoring for the victors with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Ronel Gomez and Delroy Foster each contributed with 15 points. Dwayne Samuel and Mahkail Gomes each picked up 16 points in a losing effort for United. Samuel also had 11 rebounds.
