A total of 15 overseas-based players have been included in a 37-member senior men’s basketball training squad in preparation go the second round of the FIBA AmeriCup Pre-Qualifiers slated for June 19-26. A host country is yet to be announced.

Alexis Jackson, Kevin Samuel, Jabari Williams, Seth Joseph, Remy Brewer, Joel Mckintosh, Keon Armstrong, Ahmani Browne, Sheldon Gomes, Eric Joseph, Devonté Valarie, Jevon Andrew, Amiel Williams, Timothy Charles, all based in the USA, and Xavier Spencer, based in Canada, join 22 locally based players in preparation for the competition.

The Antigua and Barbuda Bulldogs joins Barbados after the two countries qualified based on their high rankings. The automatic qualification came after a host country could not be found for the Caribbean Pre-qualifying stage for the tournament’s 2025 event.
