There were big wins for Stoneville and High Flyers on Thursday night at the YMCA Sports Complex.
Stoneville encountered Royal Cruisers in the first match in what has been described as an intense and closely-contested battle.
Both teams demonstrated teamwork and determination, making it an exciting and thrilling competition for all those in attendance.
Nevertheless, Stoneville emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over the Cruisers with scores – 25 – 20, 25 – 22, and 25 – 22.
It was a well-deserved victory for the Stoneville team that was determined that their opponents would not Cruise their way to victory.
The duration of the match was approximately one hour and 24 minutes.
In the second encounter of the evening, High Flyerz 1 battled Invaders, determined that no one would invade their camp, hence they gathered together and soared way too high for the Invaders.
The seasoned players of High Flyerz 1 emerged victorious over Invaders with a 3-0 win.
The scores were as follows: 25-16, 25-16, 25-17 with the match lasting approximately one hour and seven minutes.
