St Anthony’s and Clare Hall get big wins in schools basketball

St Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS) and Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS) were winners in the Cool & Smooth-sponsored Schools Basketball Competition on Monday as they competed in the Senior Boys Division at the JSC basketball complex.

St Anthony’s enjoyed a dominant 47-33 win over the Antigua Grammar School (AGS), taking the contest by 14 points.

Devonte Carter and Jabin Silston led the charge for St Anthony’s, both scoring 13 points. Najee Simons was the top scorer for AGS with seven points.

Meanwhile, Clare Hall Secondary School beat Princess Margaret School (PMS) 60-49 to win by 11 points.

Aiden Christian was the top scorer for Clare Hall with 20 points while Orion Seraphin chipped in with 18. Craig Massiah was on target for PMS, scoring more than half his team’s tally with 30 points.
