Police probe Matthews village killing

A Matthews Village man was killed in his home some time after 7 p.m. Wednesday, leaving residents frightened and in shock.

The deceased, who is said to be in his 60s, was found lying face down in a pool of blood, and he was partially undressed. It is unclear what type of injuries he sustained.
The police said a relative found him after she went to check on him because he was not answering his phone all afternoon.
Witnesses on the scene said someone was seen running from the house while one person reported hearing someone screaming “murder, murder.”
When the relative went into the house, the man was already dead.
Dozens of people on the scene said they were scared to go to bed after the incident as they lamented the fact that triple murder accused Delano Forbes was still on the run after escaping from the police during a scene revisit on February 12.
