Police investigating hit and run

Police are investigating an apparent hit and run which occurred on Sunday, June 24, on the All Saints Road in the Renfrew area.
According to a release from the Office of Strategic Communications of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, preliminary investigations have uncovered that at about 9:30 p.m., that day, Tiarrah Clarke was travelling from west to east in her maroon Honda CRV A697 when the vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
As a result of the impact, Clarke lost control of her vehicle, which overturned at the side of the road causing her serious injuries.
The hit and run vehicle is suspected to be a white SUV or pick-up with damage to the front.
The police are asking anyone with information or who may have been in the vicinity of the accident to contact the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
