A late strike in the closing minutes of extra time saw Greenbay Hoppers handed its sixth loss of the season by Parham, as they went under two goals to one.

The first goal was scored by Parham FC in the 19th minute by Parham’s Dennie Henry before Hoppers equalised in the 24th by way of a penalty successfully taken by Javorn Stevens in the 24th.

Then the indiscipline of the Hoppers team reared its head as they received a total of three red cards. Kendall Pennyfeather was the first to be sent off for serious foul play in the 38th minute, leaving his side with 10 men.

The first half eventually ended one-all.

With two minutes of regular time left to play, Yoandir Puga Estevez was sent off in the 88th for violent conduct, leaving Hoppers with nine men.

But the red cards were not limited to the field of play, as even the bench staff received a red card; Cadeejah Proctor was red-carded for using offensive, insulting and abusive language and or gesture to the referee.

With all the red cards and stoppages in the regular time of play, Parham’s Jahquan David was able to sneak home the final goal in the eighth minute of extra time to give them the two-one victory, thus securing their second win of the season.

The other matches saw All Saints United edge home-side Pigotts Bullets in a one-nil win via a D’Andre Bishop goal, while Garden Stars FC and SAP FC played to a one-all draw.
