A staggering 38 teams will compete in the Ministry of Sports, PIC Insurance Cool and Smooth Business Football League.
Sugar Apple Catering, KFC, Antigua and Barbuda Port Authority, Gail Christian Law Enforcers, Brownie’s Bread Shop, Curtain Bluff Resort, Antigua Rainforest Company, National Parks Authority, APUA Head Office, EMS, A.S. Bryden and Sons, Public Works Department (PWD) Hot Mix, Starfish Halcyon Cove, Verandah Pirates, Bryden Food Service Division, Young Farmers, Jumby Bay Island, CHAPA Bulldozers, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB), Anjo Wholesale, Hermitage Bay Hotel, Sandals, APUA Telecoms, General Post Office, High Ballers Construction, Blue Waters Hotel, Dixie, Jolly Beach, Galley Bay, Ministry of Works, Royalton Hotel, St. James’ Club, West Indies Oil Company (WIOC), Ministry of Tourism, Kennedy’s Blue Diamond, and Heritage Hotel, will be hoping to dethrone defending champions Dews Vipers.
The teams will be divided into four groups with the top four from each group advancing to the knock-out round.
The league will officially kick off on September 21st with matches beginning at 4:30 p.m in Jennings, Golden Grove, King George V, Radio Range, Johnson’s, English Harbour, Princess Margaret School (PMS) field, Fort Road and New Winthorpes playing fields.
