Old Road FC decimated SAP FC with a thrilling 6-1 victory in their encounter on Saturday, while Pigotts roasted Empire FC 4-nil and Garden Stars trimmed Parham’s edges 2-nil at the ABFA Technical Centre in the ABFA Premier League.

The first goal was struck in the 15th minute by way of Chantomoi Taylor before Timothy Sanasie pulled one back for SAP in the 46th minute to end the first half tied at one all.

However, as soon as the match resumed, Andrew Browne released the deadlock, scoring his goal in the 47th minute to make the scoreline 2-1. Rodney Lawrence then scored in the 68th minute followed by Saviola Elva in the 76t, increasing Old Road’s hold on the match, four goals to one. The League’s top striker, Raheem Deterville, made sure to capitalise on the opportunities presented and scored in the 83rd minute to give the south side team a 5-1 advantage. But it was not over just yet, as Johnathon Shoy managed to score what would be the last goal of the match in the fifth minute of extra time to give Old Road its 10th win of the season.

The encounter between host Pigotts Bullets and Empire FC saw the home side draw first blood against the visitors in the 14th minute via a penalty kick from Akeem Isaac to give them a 1-nil lead. Empire looked defenseless against the hosts, as they could not prevent the barrage of bullets that came their way. Lee Andree Nicholas was able to draw them back level in the 54th minute to bring the score to 1-all. But the goals of Dorisca Markens (66), Tian Samuel (79) and Kimon Harrigan (90+1) were enough to hand them their 10th loss of the season as they lost 4-1 and lie at the bottom of the table.

The other match between Garden Stars and Parham FC saw both sides down to 10 men despite Oscie Knight and Tarek Charles being successful on target in the 43rd and 89th minutes. There were also red cards handed out to Kwame Byers of Parham FC in 47th for serious foul play, and Nashawn Phillip of Garden Stars in the 60th minute who received his second caution.

The win is the Stars seventh and keeps them in the fifth position of the league.
