Jennings Primary pick up landslide victory on opening day of Schools Netball Competition

The Jennings Primary School were triumphant on Friday when they met the Five Islands Primary School, winning in dominant display 20 to nil in the Primary Division of the Cool and Smooth Schools Netball Competition.

There were also wins for Villa Primary, Sunnyside, and Sunnydale. Villa beat St Andrews 5-nil; Sunnyside won 6-nil to CT Samuel; while Sunnydale beat Potters Primary 1-nil. In the only match of the Secondary School division, Irene B Williams lost to Clare Hall Secondary in the Under-16 group with nearest of margins, 11-12.

On Monday, Antigua Girls’ High School beat Irene B Williams by four points in their match with an 8 to 4 victory in the Under 13 division.

In the 16 and under group, Antigua Girls’ won eight to six against Christ the King High School while Glanvilles Secondary School won 11 to 7 over Irene B Williams Secondary.

Ottos Comprehensive School was victorious over Christ the King High, 15 to 11, in the 18 and under category.
