Greenbay United crowned champions

Anderson Carty Greenbay United were crowned champions of the first annual Myron “Percy” Phillip Invitational Football League on Wednesday afternoon.

Playing in Golden Grove, United defeated Demolition 3-1 in the finals.

After an own-goal in the 5th minute by Davaie AaronDequan Carbonand Samuel Semperalso found the back of the net for the victors in the 25th and 65th minutes. 

Kemon Samuel was the lone goal-scorer for Demolition, hitting home in the 48th. 

Along with hoisting the title, United walked away with an individual award as Astel Josephwas named the Player of the Finals. 

Rakeem Henryof Demolition received the Golden Boot award for Most Goals while teammate Jean-Pierre Williamswas the League’s Most Valuable Player.
