Former players, administrators and fans of the Empire Football Club, earlier this month, launched an association with the objective of “providing meaningful support” to former Empire players and fans.
The organisation, dubbed the Empire Former Players and Fans Association, was launched on August 7 and comprises the likes of Stanfield “Shipwreck” Joseph, Lionel Irish, Norris Scholar, Kennedy Greenaway, Kenneth Mack, and Santana Warner.
The other members of the steering committee are Foster Grant Jarvis, Ronald Gordon and Rohan Gordon.
According to a press release, the association will operate on a strictly voluntary basis and will also run independently from both the Empire football and cricket clubs.
