There were wins for High Flyerz and Storming Lions in the Men’s Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABVA) competition on Tuesday at the indoor volleyball facility at the YMCA Sports Complex.
It was an exciting game for spectators as the young High Flyerz 2 squad gave their sibling team, High Flyerz 1, a run for their money, but the number one team persevered to win by a 3-0 margin in sets.
High Flyerz won the opening set 25-20, before claiming the second and third set 25-16 and 25-23.
In the night’s second encounter, Top Ranking Storming Lions battled Print Xpress Renegades, winning the contest 3-0 in sets.
Storming Lions won 25-20, 25-11 and 25-21 respectively in the match which lasted one hour and 15 minutes.
