Edith Clashing is the new President of the Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation (ABSF).

Clashing, who is also the body’s Technical Director, was elected over the weekend and will take over from Dr Derek Marshall.

Marshall had said last year that he would not be seeking re-election, leaving the position open for any interested person.

This is not the first time that Clashing will hold the top position in the local federation, but instead of a four-year term she will serve a two-year stint due to recent changes in the body’s constitution.

Kem Warner will be the VP of Pools, Margarita Fernandez VP of Open Water, Janelle Williams VP of Aquatic Development, Andrea Roberts-Nicholas Secretary, and Pooja Singhi Treasurer.
