Clare Hall Secondary School was hit by vandals sometime over the weekend.
The discovery was made at the start of the new week on Monday.
Reports are the perpetrators targeted the school with the intention of stealing, but their plan was thwarted when they were unable to gain entry because of the burglar bars that had been installed on the windows of the administrative building.
They, however, destroyed all the glass windows on the office building.
The incident comes at a time when government officials and the leadership of the teacher’s union work together to increase security at schools.
The development came after the teachers threatened strike action if the government and education authorities do not get a handle on the situation.
Investigations remain ongoing.
