Browne tops Avalanche Circuit Race with veteran Robert Marsh dominate Elite Class

Rising star Tahje Browne dominated the Junior Class of the Avalanche Circuit Race on Sunday, clocking a time of 1:29:06.52 to not only claim his class, but finish ahead of all competitors over a total of eight laps. 

Browne even finished ahead of veteran cyclist Robert Marsh, who out-pedalled his opponents to finish ahead of the pack in the men’s Elite Class.

The young rider crossed the line almost four minutes in front of Aiden Tonge (1:33:06.45) and almost six minutes ahead of Jomari King (1:36:36.15), both of Team Vipers in the Junior Class.

Meanwhile, riding out of the East Side Raiders cycling club, Marsh registered a time of 1:29:08.32 to win the top class by over a minute. Team Terminix’s Conroy Thomas was second to cross the line in a time of 1:30:41.84, while Team Pillars Cycling’s Abbiel Flemming won the bronze medal in a time of 1:30:56.61.

Wadadli Cycling Academy’s Jahiem Telemaque (1:38:26.84) and East Side Raiders’ David Simmons (1:39:05.35), were fourth and fifth respectively.

Vaughn Gomes of the Andre Simon Cycling Academy dominated the Masters Class, registering a time of 1:19:31.20 to capture the six-lap event ahead of Tiziano Rosignoli who clocked a time of 1:20:26.23.

The Female Class was captured by Telesha Choy (1:13:35.84) of Team Viper with Chasondre Tonge (1:32:21.19) of the Wadadli Cycling Academy in second.

Elite Thomas was the only competitor in the Cadets Class, competing in the 11-14 age category. He completed the two-lap event in a time of 26:00.64.
