Twenty-year-old Antigua and Barbuda fast bowler, Kelvin Pitman, has joined the Jamaica Tallawahs franchise for the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Pitman, who as signed by the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots last year, reportedly left Antigua on Monday for St Kitts where he was welcomed by his new team.
Representing CUB Bethesda Golden Eagles in the just concluded ABCA domestic season, Pitman claimed a total of 13 wickets in the just ended Super 40 competition with a best of three 32 against Jennings Tigers. He finished the Two Day competition with 16 wickets with a best of six for 21 against Rising Sun Spartans.
Pitman, a member of the West Indies Emerging Squad, will join other Antigua and Barbuda players in this year’s CPL to include West Indies senior men’s player Hayden Walsh Jr who is also playing for the Tallawahs.
The other players are Kofi James with the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Rahkeem Cornwall at the Barbados Royals and Alzarri Joseph at the St Lucia Kings.
