Antigua and Barbuda successful at Drag Racing Meet in St Lucia

The highly anticipated Independence 2024 Drag Racing Event Held in St Lucia last weekend saw Team Antigua and Barbuda recording success at the event.

They successfully entered into three classes and won two, drew one and made personal bests (PBs).

Helter Skelter (ANU) tied with Invest Saint Lucia Supra (SLU) in the nine seconds class with 8.8 PBs, whereas Mario Mack (10.2 PBs) and Niko Antonio (11 PBs) of Antigua and Barbuda, won their races over Ellsworth Dacon (SVG) and MushiGashi (MON) in the 10 second and 11 second races respectively.

In the other races held at the event, Aidon Sherman (SVG) was victorious over Clinton Louis (SLU) in the 12 second race; while Khalifah Vidal and Naarai Maxwell were triumphant over Brian Evans and Dalcoln Collymore in the 13 and 14 second races.

The only motorbike race was won by St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ Mekel Emmons over Ian Morrain of Grenada.
