Willikies and Green City played to an uneventful draw in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association’s (ABFA) Premier Division on Monday, each gaining a point as they continue to lag at mid-table with 14 points each.

Playing at the FA’s Technical Centre located on the Sir Sydney Walling Highway, neither team showed much initiative going forward while failing to take advantage of fairly easy scoring opportunities.

The draw was Willikies’ fifth in 12 matches, and Green City’s second in 13 outings, as they remain ninth and 10th in the competition.

Meanwhile, in the Second Division, Bethesda FC enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Real Blizzard as they move to 30 points and third on the standings after 15 outings.

Playing at New Winthorpes, Bethesda were led by O’Shale Simon with a double strike, netting in minutes 74 and 82. Calvin Goodwin had given the visitors the lead in minute 16. The loss was Real Blizzard’s fifth as they remain on 15 points from 13 outings.

Also on Monday, the match between West Ham FC and Celtics FC, carded for the PMS grounds, was postponed.
