The Potters Community Clinic received a donation of equipment and supplies on Monday 16 September 2019 from the Member of Parliament for the St. George Constituency, Dean Jonas. Principal Nursing Officer Margaret Smith along with Superintendent of Public Health Nurses Phillipa Roberts and Head Nurse for the Clinic Josephine Williams received the items on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.
The items included chairs, nebulizers, a refrigerator, filing cabinets, wound dressing, a wheelchair, crutches, a scale, and an electric fan. The initiative was made possible through the St. George Community Rebuilding Alliance with assistance from Antigua and Barbuda’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Karen-Mae Hill.
