The country’s first homicide victim of 2020 has been identified as Troy “Monkey” Baptiste.
Police report that Baptiste was gunned down and reportedly shot 9 times in the Bendals village at approximately 8 pm. in close proximity of an area commonly referred to as the ‘One Luv Tribe’.
A medical doctor arrived on the scene and pronounced the body dead around 11:30 pm.
Police are appealing to anyone with information surrounding this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
