Police arrest Crushers in Limited Overs cricket

Diamond International Police recorded the most impressive victory in Antigua Commercial Bank (ACB) Dave Joseph Limited Overs cricket competition over the weekend, trouncing Pigotts Crushers by eight wickets when they clashed in Pigotts.
Batting first, Pigotts reached 145 before they were all out in 31.1 overs. Gershum Phillip top-scored with 45 while Timmo Thomas made 28 and Abdiel Hughes contributed 17.
Bowling for the lawmen, Bevon Barnard picked up five wickets for 35 runs in seven overs while Milton Jeremy snatched three for 20 from seven overs also.
Police in reply, raced to 146 for two in 19.5 overs. Vincent Shadrach Jr had a fine knock of 56 not out and Damien Valentine scored 43 not out.
Bowling for Pigotts, Malique Gerald took two for 36 from seven overs.
Also over the weekend, Freetown defeated Harney Motors Mahico by 87 runs. Freetown winning the toss elected to bat, amassed 231 for eight off 32 overs. Cleton Payne top-scored with 48 and Javier Drew added 38.  Carl Joseph was the pick of the bowlers for Mahico, claiming three for 58 from seven overs.
Mahico, when their turn at the crease arrived, were bowled out for 144.
Kadeem Henry scored 23 and Dean Williams added 24.  Bowling for Freetown, TJ Nathaniel snatched three wickets for 24 runs in five overs.
In the other match played, Stingray City/Nature Tours Seatons defeated Urlings by four wickets.
Urlings batted first and were all out for 149 from 27.4 overs. Carol Lewis scored 27 runs.
Seatons in reply, made 151 for six off 23.4 overs. Omarie Hazelwood hit 49 and Stefan Daniel was 25 not out.
