The shooting victim has been identified as Marvin Williams of Ottos.
He was shot in both legs and has been hospitalised.
The incident occured while Williams and two co workers were at the Villa Primary School doing construction work shortly before 8 pm Tuesday.
A masked gunman walked up to him and demanded money, before shooting him and running away.
BACKGROUND
The police have confirmed a man was shot tonight in the Villa area.
The extent of the man’s injuries and identity were not disclosed to OBSERVER media.
However, the police said the incident occured some time after 7 pm and the victim was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
