Man injured after robbery at St Joseph’s Academy

A male member of staff at the St. Joseph Academy was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre on Sunday afternoon after a robbery gone wrong ended with him being shot in the face with a flare gun by one of the two assailants.

The man, allegedly lured the two intruders within sight of the school’s surveillance cameras, which allowed the ordeal to be captured on video.

It can be seen that he handed over what appeared to be a phone as well as an undisclosed amount of money.
