Antigua and Barbuda’s Vincent Aldin Pryce (better known by his stage name LogiQ Pryce) will travel to Florida on a cultural exchange to attend PATH’s summer Academy of Music and Art.
The exchange, a part of Partners of the Americas’ Education and Culture programme, will provide exchanges and small grants for communities across the Americas.
The Education and Culture Programme, funded by the United Sates Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs,connectspeople and institutions to promote service in the community, enhancingcross-cultural understanding and cooperation between the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, and buildingprofessional development of participants and the communities they visit.
Pryce will spend two weeks in Miami and participate in the PATH Hip Hop Summer Academy 2019.
During his visit, Pryce will contribute to and benefit from projects aligned with Partners of the Americas and PATH Inc.’s shared objectives and programmes while developing creative leadership skills through professional development workshops and strengthening the social impact of his creative work.
He will also develop and exhibit a professional series of creative work in collaboration with local artists, and connect with professional counterparts in the creative and community development sectors.
Vincent Aldin ‘LogiQ’ Prycehas gained multiple plaudits and accomplished much throughout his musical career, working with talents such as Torsten Stenzel, KNS Tha Engineer andBuda da Future.
LogiQ also released songs from his debut single “Losing Track of Time” (which won Best Video at the Antigua National Vibes Award 2007), the 2012 song “Blasting Away” and “Sometimes I.”
He also has collaborated with several notable persons, including Jashaun Hughes in “Take Me Away,” Busy Signal and,DJ Bambino inthe remix of T-Pain’s “Take Your Shirt Off” which gained serious popularity on YouTube since its releaseand “Dat Body” with Jus Bus, Drastic and Ricardo Dru.
Hehas also featured on Tiffany Trump’s—the daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump -single “Like a Bird” as well as on the track “House Of Love” with Marla Maples- the second wife of the U.S. President – and Deepak Chopra.
