Invincible Stars remain perfect

Invincible Stars continue to live up to their name as they remain undefeated in the A Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) league.
The powerhouse team defeated Running Rebelz, 43-35 on Tuesday night at the YMCA Sports Complex to sit at the top of the 6-team standings with a 7-0 record.
 Former national player, Mikila Willis led the charge for the victors netting 27 of her 47 attempts.
She was assisted by veteran player, Seymone Parks, who made 16 of her 32 attempts.
Amey Lake of Running Rebelz sank 21 of her 30 attempts while teammate, Patara Davis made 14 of 28.
Invincible Stars had much to celebrate for
that night as their B team also picked up a big win over Hon. Asot Michael Parham.
The 42-11 trouncing saw Shenique Barry drill 22 of her 37 attempts for the victors with assistance from teammate, Everdine Parker who had 20 of 34.
Tija Benjamin of Parham made five of her 13 attempts while teammates, Kemesha Williams and Amber Williams chipped in with four and two points respectively.
In the other A Division encounter, Hon. Michael Browne Black Lightning trounced Roof Masters Plus Attackers, 38-18.
National junior player, Reyanna Regis led the victors drilling 33 of her 42 attempts with assistance from Karol Carlton who had a perfect five of five.
Attackers’ Rosetta Hunte netted 11 of her 39 attempts while teammate Shenique Farrell sank seven of thirteen.
