In keeping with its promise to contribute towards the development of the nation’s youth, the Halo Foundation recently donated $5,500 to the National Youth Parliament Association of Antigua and Barbuda.
The five-year-old organisation focuses on youth advocacy and places high emphasis on civic pride, the development of skills, the involvement of youth in political processes, and the boundless power of the youth movement.
The outgoing President of the organisation, Kamalie Mannix, accepted the donation on behalf of his team. He thanked Governor General Sir Rodney and Lady Williams for the donation, which will offset expenses for the organisation’s activities for 2024.
