CANA is reporting that a Guyanese national will return to court on Thursday after she was denied bail in a charge of misbehavior while on a Caribbean Airlines (CAL) flight to Port of Spain last weekend.
Sylvanie Roxanne Shivnarine appeared before Magistrate Cheron Raphael in the Arima Magistrates’ First Court, east of here on Monday after she was alleged to have behaved in a manner which caused annoyance to passengers on flight BW457 after being requested to cease such behaviour.
Shivnarine was not called upon to plead, as the charge was laid indictably.
The magistrate said that she could not grant bail to Shivnarine since she was not process by Immigration when she was taken off the flight on July 20.
She has been remanded in custody and will return to court on Thursday.
