Global Ports and Norwegian Cruise Line pledge to support A&B

The Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) held a meeting with Global Ports Holdings PLC (GPH) to discuss their agreement with the government of Antigua and Barbuda to develop the cruise port, a statement released yesterday said.
During the meeting in Miami, Chief Executive Officer of NCLH Frank Del Rio said they are thrilled that Global Ports has made this investment.
“As a company that is focused on delivering a high-quality product to discerning guests, we are pleased to learn of GPH’s intention to invest in Antigua’s tourism infrastructure to improve the guest experience. We are thrilled that GPH has made this financial commitment to Antigua and are excited to move forward together to grow the cruise business to this beautiful island,” Del Rio said.
CEO of Global Ports Holdings Emre Sayin said his company wants to become a catalyst in improving the cruise tourism product in Antigua and Barbuda.
“Our investment is intended to be a catalyst to grow Antigua’s cruise business and this is a great step forward. We are looking forward to working with the people of Antigua and our cruise line partners to improve the impact of cruise tourism on Antigua,” Sayin said in the statement.
