In the only match played on Saturday at the JSC Sports Complex, the Ottos Full Throttle were slammed 84-42 by Flyers Basketball with Selassie Braithwaite top-scoring with 18 points for the winners.
Kenya Achom and Javonte Daley contributed 10 points each to help in the Flyers win, while Warren Bogle and Marlon Davis scored 16 and 12 points for Throttle.
Achom scored the most rebounds and assists, playing a major part in his team’s landslide victory over Throttle.
The first quarter was won by Flyers 25-3, but they lost the second quarter, 19-27.
They then rebounded in the third and fourth quarters 24-8 and 16-4.
It is the fourth straight win for the Flyers.
Matches will continue on Monday in Division Two with Wadadli Elite and Flyers (2) clashing in the first match, while Spanish Heat will meet Rebels in the final encounter.
