Rainforest Elites continued their dominant run in the Mixed Division of the ongoing Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) after recording another win last Wednesday.
Elites defeated Massy United Grays Green 24-18 in the lone mixed match-up that night at the YMCA Sports Complex.
Anjis Anthony banked a perfect 20 goals from 20 attempts, while teammate Jamilla Fritz sank four of five.
Grays Green’s Tyea Ladoo was the leading scorer netting 12 of 16 her attempts with assistance from Adina Andre who made six of 18.
Meanwhile, in the lone Open Division encounter, Pacesetters trounced Invincible Stars 2B 24-4.
Karel Knight led the charge for the victors scoring 16 of her 27 attempts while teammate Krizia Duncan chipped in sinking eight of 12.
Invincible Stars’ Kizzy Hughes made three of five while teammate, Sophia Wilkins, netted one of seven. Matches will continue on Saturday at 6:45 pm in the Open Division as Invincible Stars 1A will face Chuka’s Trucking Fly Ballers while Pacesetters will battle Massy United Grays Green Tigers.
