Dragon Ballerz were crowned the champions of the first ever 3×3 Summer league at the JSC Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.
The champion team which comprised local players, Keroi “Dragon” Lee, Steven Matthew and Delornje Jules, walked away with the top honors after defeating Forresters 10-5 in the finals.
DB advanced to the finals of the event after edging out Space Jam 10-7 in the semi-finals and The Thrashers 11-9 in the quarterfinals.
All three members of the team were awarded with a trophy, compliments Cool and Smooth, a gift voucher from KFC and shades from Eye Mobile Vision Care.
Delornje Jules and Noah Forrest were named the Most Valuable Players of the finals.
Kwame “Special K” Brathwaite was another winner of the event as he won the slam dunk competition.
The event had a total of 10 teams in the competition.
Eye Mobile Vision Care, KFC, First Choice, NNL Distributors, Cool and Smooth, Anjo Wholesale and Digicel sponsored the event.
