Body found at Devil's Bridge

Police have confirmed that the body of an unknown male was found at Devil’s Bridge yesterday morning.

According to the Police PRO, Inspector Frankie Thomas, officers attached to the Willikies Police station responded to a report around 11 a.m. yesterday which indicated “what is believed to be the discovery of a male body” in the vicinity of Devil’s Bridge, a popular tourist attraction and recreational site located in the northeastern section of Antigua.

The discovery was reportedly made around 11:00 am by a beachgoer, who reported the incident to the police.

The body, dark in complexion, is believed to be that of someone between the ages of 20-30 years old.

The unidentified individual was pronounced dead on the spot around 2:49 pm by a medical doctor.
