The nation has recorded one more Covid-related death.
A release just issued revealed the fatality happened at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre on Saturday. A total of 145 people in the twin island nation are now said to have died with the illness.
Health officials also say 54 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the country. The Ministry of Health released the latest dashboard moments ago.
Fifty-five more recoveries have also been recorded, taking the current active count to 53.
Three people remain in hospital with the virus with mild symptoms only.
Last week, health bosses expressed relief that Carnival festivities had not triggered a major spike in Covid cases in Antigua and Barbuda, lauding widespread vaccination uptake across the nation.
