Labour department employee was trapped in an elevator this afternoon during an electrical outage

An employee of the labour department was trapped in an elevator at the office this afternoon during an electrical outage that affected the entire St. John’s.
The fire department was called in the rescue the female who could be heard screaming at times while she waited for help.
The woman was rescued some time after being trapped, and was taken to the hospital. Another employee who was upset by the incident, was also taken to the hospital for elevated blood pressure.
