Young Lions carried their quota of points in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) First Division to 27 after 21 showings following a 2-1 triumph over Potters Tigers on Wednesday.
Playing at Old Road, Young Lions had goals from Alexander Burton in minute 17 and Conrad Willock in minute 77 as they picked up their ninth victory of the competition.
Despite the win, Young Lions remain out of contention for a playoff spot even with a victory in their final contest.
Potters, who suffered their 11th loss in 21 showings, remain on 22 points and third from bottom on the 12-team standings. Tigers are currently in the two-team playoff zone and face possible relegation if they are made to face the third and fourth placed teams in the Second Division.
Meanwhile, Bolans moved out of the playoff zone with a 1-1 draw against West Ham FC. Raheem Stewart put Bolans ahead in minute 88 before Jahmarley Barzey drew West Ham level just two minutes later.
West Ham move to 11 points from 19 showings and are still second from bottom in the standings and facing automatic relegation.
