Women’s football technical director and head coach Lisa Cole resigns

Technical Director for women’s football in Antigua and Barbuda and head coach of the senior women’s team, Lisa Cole, has tendered her resignation and will leave the post this week.

This is according to reliable information indicating that Cole wrote the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) this week indicating her intention to take up an offer to coach elsewhere.

The former USA coach was first appointed to the role back in 2019 and had had moderate success with the national programme.

Efforts to contact Cole for comment has so far proven futile.
