There were wins for H Wright Promotions and Antigua Power Company in the Cool and Smooth- sponsored Business Basketball League staged at the JSC Basketball Complex on Wednesday night.
Contesting the opening match, H Wright Promotions remained unbeaten after three games with a 66-45 triumph over Lion Feast.
Humroy Wright led the scoring for the winners with a game-high of 17 points, while having three assists and three steals. Sharife Sergeant chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds. In a losing effort, Adrian Carnegie sank 12 points for Lion Feast. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished three assists. Bruce Whyte also had 12 points.
In the feature contest, Antigua Power Company defeated Board of Education 48-46. Tristan Jacobs was the top performer for the victors with 16 points and five rebounds. Davis Hernandez and Xavier Meade picked up 15 and 10 points respectively for Board of Education. Meade also grabbed nine rebounds.
On Saturday, Board of Education take on Lion Feast in the first game of a triple header starting at 6:30 pm. Sandals and United clash in the second contest at 7:30pm, while Eye Mobile Vision Care take on Richie’s Shooters in the feature contest starting at 8:30 pm.
