Jaden Joseph led his side All Saints Secondary School to another victory in the Cool and Smooth / Joma Ministry of Sports Boys Under-16 school league on Monday.
They secured a 2-1 victory over Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS) through an early strike in the second minute from Joseph, who would later be named Player of the Match, which was then followed by Kymani Francis extending the advantage in the 19th minute.
CHSS’s Leon Cort pulled one back in the 26th minute, but ASSS held on for the win.
The day also featured several decisive victories, with standout performances across multiple matches. St. Joseph’s Academy (SJA) dominated their match against Irene B Williams Secondary School (IBWSS), claiming a 3-0 victory.
Joshua James earned Player of the Match honors with a first-half double, scoring in the 11th and 20th minutes, while Itzjaire Sebastian added a third in the 38th minute.
Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) maintained their strong form with a 3-0 win over Antigua Grammar School (AGS).
The trio of Demarre Swift, Tafari Looby and Nazeek Williamson found the net, with Swift’s performance earning him Player of the Match recognition.
In other results, Jennings Secondary School and Sir Novelle Richards Academy played to a goalless draw, while St Mary’s Secondary School was awarded victory by default after Glanvilles Secondary School failed to field a team.
