The Cool and Smooth Joma Ministry of Sports Under-16 School League produced a mixed bag of results on Thursday which saw ASSS and PMS collect wins.
All Saints Secondary School (ASSS) secured a narrow 1-0 victory over St Mary’s Secondary School (SMSS), with Aaron Marie scoring the decisive goal in the 32nd minute.
The solitary goal proved enough to separate the sides in what was a closely contested match.
Defending Champions Princess Margaret School (PMS) continued their excellent form with a compelling 4-0 win over Jennings Secondary School (JSS).
Shumba Thomas opened the scoring early in the 4th minute, followed by quick-fire goals from Jace Bright (14′) and Shamar Walters (17′).
Mario Lewis completed the sweep in the 42nd minute, capping off an impressive performance.
The day’s remaining fixtures ended in draws. St Joseph’s Academy (SJA) and Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS) shared points in a 2-2 stalemate encounter.
Unfortunately, the goal scorers for these matches were not provided.
