Deman James and partner Newman Winter walked away with the overall title in the first annual Do Blue Inc. Prostate Cancer Awareness Golf Tournament over the weekend.
Playing on Saturday morning at the Cedar Valley Golf Course, the pair waved off tough competition to gain the top prize of $1,000 cash.
Mike Pigott and Tony Edwards grabbed the second-place trophy and $750 in cash while national hero Sir Vivian Richards and his partner Michelle Millington took the third place and $500 cash.
The fundraiser saw droves of spectators come out to support a worthy cause whose proceeds will go toward assisting persons with prostate cancer.
Sagicor, Harney Motors Ltd, Hadeed Motors Ltd, ABS, Cool and Smooth, Horizons Ltd, Shoul’s Toys, Gifts and Housewares, and Goddard Catering Group, sponsored the event.
