Messages of condolences to the Ramsey family inundated social media yesterday as residents and others further afield learned of the passing of Ava Lady Ramsey, the widow of the late Dr Sir Prince Ramsey.
Lady Ramsey died some time on Wednesday as a result of health complications, close to nine months after the passing of her late husband.
According to reports, Lady Ramsey was receiving medical attention overseas after she suffered two heart attacks about two weeks ago.
She had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Mount St John’s Medical Centre, before she was airlifted out of the country for further treatment in Jamaica, where she died.
Since the news of her death, residents have taken to several social media sites where they have been expressing condolences to her sons Rian and Reynard, the rest of her family, and close friends.
Lady Ramsey is being described as a remarkable woman with a beautiful soul. Hundreds have been extending prayers and support for the family.

I met Sir Prince in 1962 in Oxford and we lost touch when he left Oxford.i managed to find him whilst surfing the net I managed to locate him a few years back and we had a good chat over the telephone and he was interested to find out where some of our mutual friends from our Oxford days are based.It was a really a pleasure to find the doctor after all these years.I was devastated saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend Prince and the shock to learn of the passing of his dear wife the late Lady Ava.Rest in Peace.
