A balanced day between Bangladesh and the West Indies on Day Three of the First Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, which saw the visitors end the day on 269 for nine from 98 overs.

It was a tough day in the sun, for the West Indian fast bowlers who toiled away with some rewards, as Alzarri Joseph collected three for 69 bowling a quarter of the overs in the innings.

He was well supported by the all rounder Justin Greaves and fast bowler Jayden Seales who collected two wickets each.

Leading the resistance for the Bangladeshis were Jaker Ali 53, Monimul Haque 50, and Liton Das 50. The match will continue on Day Four with the start time slated for 10 am.
