We remember them

This past Sunday was certainly a lovely day for a memorial service and parade at the cenotaph on Independence Avenue in St John’s. It was a somber and moving occasion, and one that we shall not soon forget. Which is exactly the point – we ought never to forget the service and sacrifice of those who gave of themselves.
