Head Coach of the Under-20 Women’s Volleyball team Rixon Joseph has expressed his pleasure that the majority of players coming from the school level truly understand the sport.
The discussion is one that has been constantly repeated in not only volleyball but other sports as well once a youth team is involved.
“Well, yes, I am pleased. Some players have different abilities and some players take longer to catch on to the game. For the girls that I have been training, I haven’t had much problems with them to teach them the game and stuff like that,” Joseph said.
The coach, who was a guest on the Good Morning JoJo Sports Show, also spoke confidently of the team’s chances in the tournament and silenced concerns about the overall fitness of the team going into the competition.
