A young Villa man seriously injured in a shooting on Wednesday night remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Zahvante Hill, 24, underwent emergency surgery to remove a bullet from his stomach following the incident that took place at around 6:15 pm in Hand Street.
The medical team, according to relatives, worked for several hours to extract the bullet and repair the damage it had caused.
Police are investigating what appears to have ensued following an altercation between the two men.
Meanwhile, a wanted bulletin was issued yesterday for the alleged assailant Iandre Williams. Williams was being asked to surrender himself immediately to any police station. He was described as armed and dangerous.
