St Joseph’s Academy student Uchenna Ohaegbulam has been announced as the country’s top CSEC student for 2024.
He took 24 subjects, earning 20 grade ones, three grade twos and one grade four.
CXC Registrar Myrick Smith made the announcement on Thursday evening, saying no other student had come close to Uchenna.
Uchenna’s exceptional performance mirrors that of his brother, Chidindu Ohaegbulam, who also graduated from SJA and was celebrated as the top CSEC student in 2022.
Chidindu’s results included 21 grade ones and two grade twos across 23 subjects.
