Two young men in their early 20’s are reportedly nursing stab wounds following an altercation over the weekend.
Sources claim that an argument erupted close to midnight at East Bus Station on Saturday, when one confronted the other about EC $200 owed to them.
The argument eventually turned into a fight. Then, it was reported that the young man who was owed money pulled out a knife and stabbed the other, which resulted in a laceration on his forearm requiring eight stitches and a stab wound to his chest.
However, the initial victim in the altercation drew a pair of scissors and stabbed the confronter in his shoulder.
The injuries sustained by the two young men were said to be non-life threatening.
Police continue to investigate the details surrounding the double wounding.
