Two men are currently in police custody assisting with investigations into a cutlass-wielding brawl at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on Old Parham Road.
Police PRO Frankie Thomas told OBSERVER both men are injured but not to a life-threatening extent.
Video obtained by our newsroom and circulating on social media show one man brandishing a cutlass approaching another at the fast food franchise.
But before he could land a blow, the intended target raised one the franchise restaurant’s chair to his face in self-defense.
Customers were heard screaming and running from the melee as it escalated.
Both men wrestled on the ground for a few seconds before the man with the cutlass stormed out of the building.
