Tryum FC moved to the top of the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) First Division standings after recording a 6-0 victory over Police FC on Wednesday afternoon.

The victors, who were recently demoted from the Antigua Premier League (APL), continue to show their intent in regaining a promotion spot to the big yard.

Daryan James scored five of the team’s six goals, hitting home in the 8th, 16th, 29th, 40th and 72nd minutes.

Harnel Burrell also found the back of the net for the victors in minute 52nd.

They now move to seven points, one point ahead of FC Aston Villa.

Fort Road FC bounced back from their upsetting 5-2 defeat last week to edge out newly promoted team, Bolans FC, 1-0, at home.

Joumal Semper was the hero of the day for the home team as he scored in the 80th minute.

Meanwhile, in the lone Division Two encounter, 5P’s Wadadli FC and Real Blizzard played to a one-all draw.

Jaharie James gave Blizzard the 1-0 advantage in the 65th minute, but celebrations would be cut short three minutes later when Omar Henry scored the equalising goal.
